Top notch CBC journalists—Trish Wood, Marianne Klowak, and Rodney Palmer—spill the beans. All three retired in disgust.
To understand what’s happened to journalism, we can point to the Trusted News Initiative (TNI), a global news brokerage claiming to combat misinformation and fake news. TNI was formed in 2019 because public trust in media was only 29%. A shotgun wedding transpired between all legacy media and all big tech, including Facebook and Google. The motive was information control. When COVID hit, the vaccine failed and public trust sank even lower. The TNI propaganda machine went into overdrive pushing “misinformation” paranoia. They needed people to stay obedient, fearful, and arguing among ourselves. Instead, many of us turned to researchers, ethical scientists, medical activists and citizen journalists who had the facts.
How TNI works: editors and reporters send news stories to TNI for approval before the information can be released. If TNI doesn’t approve, the story is red-penned and sent back. When they don’t like the expert a reporter is quoting, the reporter is told to use their in-house expert instead. Do you notice that TV news presenters all say the exact same message, same phrases, same sentences, all at the same time? That’s not “trustworthy”, it’s Orwell’s Ministry of Truth: you only know what we tell you.
We must ask, what will censorship accomplish? If they manage to end free speech, what then?
TNI ended Marianne Klowak’s career. On the Trish Wood is Critical podcast (episode 159), Klowak said, “A number of stories that I put forward were blocked…it seemed to me as a journalist who’d been there 34 years, it’s like the rules had changed so quickly that it left me dizzy.” A scrupulous and trusted reporter, Klowak “had a show all put together about the vaccine injured, with interviewed experts who said the vaccine was a problem, and the CBC brass killed it. I took my concerns to the managing editor and senior executives but they didn’t care. Worse, CBC took the stance that anybody saying the vaccines were a problem was lying.”
Before Trish Wood retired, she hosted The Fifth Estate and did award-winning investigative reporting for over 20 years. Talking with veteran reporter Rodney Palmer (episode 158), Wood said, “This generation of new journalists aren’t trained to think outside the box. It’s not in a real journalist’s DNA to promote anything as ‘safe and effective’. The media no longer report fairly on things that require debate.”
Palmer was less diplomatic: “I had to stop listening to the CBC. I got a sore throat from screaming at the radio while I was alone in my car, because I know things to be true and they were saying the opposite and it was bloody dangerous! What we’re hearing is propaganda and false messaging on behalf of the government.”
They dig for facts and get the truth; they do so because they have our backs; they take no money from corporations or government; and they’re funded by the people.
SAM COOPER

Sam Cooper: They’re not looking at the banks. And they’re basically wrong?
Senior U.S. Expert: The issue isn’t a lack of skill—there are tremendously capable investigators in the RCMP. The problem is they don’t have the legal tools to back them up. For example, if I seize a drug lab, I’m required to immediately disclose the evidence. That exposes our trade craft. Once the network knows it’s being investigated, we can’t pursue them effectively anymore. So, in effect, the laws are protecting these criminal groups. That’s why they’re expanding—they’re not going away.
Sam Cooper: And that’s why they’re bigger in Canada.
Senior U.S. Expert: Exactly. And this is a critical point I want to make. As the U.S. tightens control over the southwest border and ramps up efforts against cartels in Mexico, what do you think happens in Canada? Who becomes the supplier?
James Corbett can teach you everything you need to know about everything. There are many excellent independent investigative journalists but he’s the one everyone should know about and visit often. He’s been at it for over 25 years, winning awards, writing, directing, hosting, and producing hundreds of podcasts and many excellent long-form documentaries. In every video he makes, he includes a list of primary source links so people can verify for themselves the truth in what he’s saying. He’s a brilliant humanist with a scrupulous ethical core. He brings a clear heart and temperate passions to the darkest subjects; his light touch, often laced with levity and wit, makes the hard truths easier to bear.
…hosted CBC’s Fifth Estate for a decade; she credits the CBC of yore with teaching her to be a great investigative journalist, which she’s been for over 35 years.
But the award-winning investigative journalist left the Mothercorp when its standards deteriorated and she couldn’t see herself being there anymore. Her excoriating criticism: “We don’t have media. The CBC is now evil. They’re populated with the left-wing that hates populism, they hate the Conservatives, they hate religion. The CBC was captured by extreme Wokeism really early on. They wouldn’t have jobs anywhere else so they are all in to drink—and force the rest of us to drink—the KoolAid. They are not reflecting what Canadians are thinking or need to be talking about. They hate the working class as much as the bureaucrats in Ottawa hate the working class. They think the working class are dirty, smelly racists and we need to get rid of all of them. The media caters to people’s biases because it’s more financially expedient to do so.”
Now a successful independent, Wood shares her wealth of experience and wisdom—in that mellifluous voice of hers you can listen to all day—with over 15K subscribers, and many more followers, on her podcast Trish Wood is Critical.

A sample of the way her comprehensive knowledge leads to confident, accurate assessments and on-the-nose predictions:
“Mark Carney isn’t stepping into power to protect Canadian sovereignty, he’s here to dissolve it. This is not an elected leader with a mandate from the people, this is a banker groomed by global institutions, positioned at the helm of the most powerful central banks in the West and now parachuted into Canada’s top office in the middle of an engineered crisis.
Carney was governor of the bank of Canada during the 2008 crash, then he was handed the top job at the bank of England becoming the first non-Brit to hold that position in over three centuries. That wasn’t a promotion, that was placement… a signal to the global financial elite that Carney wasn’t just one of them, he was ready for the next phase of the project and that project is global governance…technocratic control. A world where countries exist in name but real decisions are made by unelected bureaucrats, asset managers and central banks.
Carney has never hidden his loyalties. He’s a key figure within the World Economic Forum, a trusted Architect of Klaus Schwab’s “Great-Reset”. He doesn’t just support stakeholder capitalism, he helped design its playbook. He spent the last several years preparing the framework for an economic transition that replaces national interest with global compliance, freedom with surveillance and sovereignty with dependency.
Carney’s language is the same coded language used by every WEF loyalist…Sustainability, resilience, inclusion and climate finance. But decode that language and the reality is much darker. What they call climate finance is the commodification of nature. Turning forests, oceans, carbon footprints and even your personal behaviour into financial instruments to be tracked, traded and controlled. It’s not about protecting the environment, it’s about creating a new asset class for the elite, and once human behaviour becomes an asset it can also become a liability… something to be taxed, fined and even restricted. This is Carney’s real vision for Canada. NOT protection from Trump but deeper integration into a technocratic system designed in Davos and enforced through digital change.
He is a leading proponent of central bank digital currency (CBDC’s) which are being marketed as efficient and modern but are in fact tools of unprecedented control. Programmable money means conditional money. Money that can be restricted based on who you are, where you are, what you say or how you behave. Pair that with digital ID Systems, bio-metric tracking and algorithmic decision making and the result is a digital prison where your ability to participate in society depends on your willingness to comply with the demands of unelected global institutions.
This is not a conspiracy theory. This is his openly admitted policy. Carney has published it, the WEF has published it, the International Settlements has published it. What they need now is public consent or at the very least public submission.”

Neil Oliver, who many will know as the Coast Guy from former TV series and documentaries. A former practising archaeologist and show host, Oliver became a full-time citizen activist during COVID when he started connecting the dots of extreme corruption, lies and advancing tyranny. Like so many millions of us, the COVID scamdemic sent him down the rabbit hole where he discovered just how corrupt things are. He chronicles, step by step, that process, and he’s become much, much more than a TV host, he’s a beacon of light, a soul warrior. His new understanding of reality unfolds for himself in real time, as it does for his more than 325K followers. And he tells a great yarn while doing so.
Her personal story is riveting; a heavy weight in the financial world of the west, one of the few women inside the boys club with significant power and a front seat for decades—until she saw the depth of corruption and problems. When she could no longer support the fallacies of the boys club she became a whistleblower. For that betrayal she was persecuted for 11 years—but she survived. Assisted by the strength of her religious beliefs she hung onto her optimism and joy in life and now runs Solari, a successful business which situates money inside an ethical, holistic framework.

Bush, as United States Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development for Housing. Fitts has researched and commented on government spending. In a 2004 study published in World Affairs: The Journal of International Issues, she purported to find “evidence that a very large proportion of the nation’s wealth is being illegally diverted since several decades into secret, unaccountable channels and programmes with unspecified purposes, including covert operations and subversions abroad and clandestine military R&D at home. Public institutions have been infiltrated and taken over by shadowy groups in the service of powerful private and vested interests, often at the expense of the common good.”
She works tirelessly to warn about CBDC, digital IDs and programmable money.

AGAINST DR. BONNIE HENRY & BC NDP GOVERNMENT— Judge requests 10 more days of Hearings, expected to be scheduled later this year
Former Lillooet Hospital Worker, Monica Krenbrink:
“I would like to highly encourage people who were affected by the PHO Vaccine Mandate to join the UHCWBC Society. Whether you were terminated, retired early, quit or you’re still an employee (or had an adverse reaction to any of the shots or feel you had no choice). Please support this class action lawsuit. Or if you are a BC Public Service Worker join the BCPSEF Society. Do your research and learn about these 2 Class Action Lawsuits, get information and connect with like-minded people.”
Recently in court, legal counsel introduced two actions on behalf of unionized B.C. public servants and healthcare workers, highlighting their transition from being hailed as “heroes” early in the COVID-19 pandemic to being treated as “public enemies” due to vaccine mandate non-compliance. The fear generated during the pandemic was noted as a conditioning factor, necessitating a careful, evidence-based examination of the mandates’ legality and impacts.
Plaintiffs alleged that Dr. Bonnie Henry and the B.C. government acted in bad faith, with reckless indifference or willful blindness, by issuing mandates unsupported by scientific data on vaccine efficacy in preventing transmission. Madame Justice Burke sought a thorough presentation of the facts and legal basis; 10 more days of hearings are expected.
The Plaintiffs claimed the mandates’ true objective was political compliance, not public health, causing s. 2(d) Charter violations, financial loss, and emotional trauma.
Core Allegations:
The PHO’s orders, issued under the Public Health Act (PHA), mandated vaccination despite evidence that vaccines did not prevent infection or transmission, constituting misfeasance in public office (Odhavji Estate v Woodhouse, 2003 SCC 69).
For healthcare workers, the PHO’s actions induced breaches of employment contracts by compelling employers to exclude unvaccinated staff (Canada Steamship Lines Inc. v Elliott, 2006 FC 609).
Counsel cited recent Federal Court decisions (Hill v Canada, 2025 FC 242; Payne v Canada, 2025 FC 5) that allowed similar claims to proceed at the certification stage.
Defendants argued that the claims should be resolved through labour arbitration but Plaintiffs countered that the B.C. Supreme Court retains jurisdiction because the mandates were unilateral state actions that altered employment contracts, violating s. 2(d) Charter rights.
Next Steps:
Despite five days of hearings, the Plaintiffs’ submissions remain incomplete. Madame Justice Emily Burke has sought a thorough presentation of the facts and legal basis, and our counsel (@uasind) has adeptly navigated the complex interplay of constitutional, tort, labour law, and civil procedure.
An additional 10 days of hearings are expected to be scheduled later in 2025 to conclude the Plaintiffs’ submissions and hear the Defendants’ response.
On May 6th Council awarded the contract. Once the walls of the historic building are opened the unknowns will be revealed—such as asbestos and structural issues–and costs could soar to $750K or more. It happens in every renovation. A huge amount of money is being put into this, a few questions could be asked:
Are there plans afoot for the Miyazaki House to generate ongoing, monthly revenue?
Can we add more public usefulness? The art shows and cultural events have social value but are few and far between, as are rentals for events. Tours are seldom and they aren’t monetized, the website meekly asks for a “suggested donation of $25”.
Would some community engagement or even a town hall help to generate some ideas? An email to the MH Society with some questions got no reply. Calling and leaving a message got no response. Wouldn’t it reflect well on an evolving town if more dialogue happened, such as town halls?
Is it time to bring in new energy to the Society, to restructure the Society?
We’re in dire need of health supports, how about renting rooms to professionals doing massage, foot care, or______?
Boutique historical salon serving tea & scones?
How about a few parking spaces? How about we buy the empty lot between the municipal building and the post office?
According to Canadian charity law, a society can:
operate a gift shop, paid parking service, or a restaurant or café on the site
sell products bearing a logo
rent/lease space in the building or parking lot
activities directly related to the charity can be used to generate funds
If the Society doesn’t monetize and turn this glorious building into a living, breathing space used daily by the community, then it sits there, looking pretty and overlooked, and the current spate of drug dealers who conduct their illegal trade from the porch get an even nicer porch?
I bet the good Dr. Miyazaki would smile down from heaven if he saw the old house being used for healthcare.
Meet Maggie Hope Braun, the woman who’s transforming one local council at a time by exposing the global climate agenda infiltrating our Canadian towns and sucking millions of dollars out of fiscal budgets.
KICLEI stands for “Kicking the International Council Out of Environmental Initiatives”
Here’s a brief sample of what Kiclei offers, which they provide for free and by donation:
📌 Why are local governments quietly adopting global programs?
📌 What’s the hidden cost of “net-zero” at the municipal level?
📌 How can YOU get involved—and win?
Education. When councils are asked to spend millions on initiatives that reduce, say, 400 tonnes of CO2 annually, the public deserves context.
Here’s what 400 tonnes of CO₂ represents:
– 0.000069% of Canada’s annual emission
– 0.0000011% of global human emissions
– 0.000000019% of total CO₂ in Earth’s atmosphere
In other words: a drop in a vast atmospheric ocean.
Advocacy. We provide the tools, reports, and strategy to help you organize effectively and guide your municipality toward locally-driven solutions—without ICLEI, FCM pressure, or global policy frameworks. Lots of resources at kiclei.ca

Everything we need to know in this lengthy interview. This courageous doctor from Lytton has been at the forefront of the fight against those who would decimate world population, collapse our economies and usher in the era of tyranny.
If you balk at this, it’s your duty to so some research so you can know for sure if what you believe is what the media told you to believe and if you’ve been lied to — we must do research for the future of the children and the grandchildren. Start here, start now. The truth shall prevail.

Maybe it’s time to start a brand new health care system. Using the word “health” has become deeply ironic within the current degraded state of the pharma industrial complex. Pushing ineffective, harmful products on BABIES is species-level insanity. We must insist on a better way forward.
Agenda 21 refers to the agenda for the entire 21st century. The vast majority of us have never heard about Agenda 21 because the lapdog media never reports and the billionaires at the top of the new feudalism pyramid — and all their sycophants — believe that democracy and freedom are relics. According to these un-elected sociopaths drunk on wealth and power, they can push us into a modern version of serfdom. And one woman’s personal experiences revealed how they are making it happen.
Rosa Koire, from California, discovered how the Agenda 21 swindle works but it took her a long time. She and her partner kept coming up against one local group after another who had political, financial and ideological ties to the murky world of globalists and the climate cartel — proving that when we hear the terms ‘Sustainable Development’ or ‘globalist’ they aren’t some far off concepts, they are infiltrating our lives and our local governance. Despite many efforts over many years, Koire and her partner failed to save their San Francisco neighbourhood from complex real estate scams.
Koire dedicated herself to informing as many people as she could. Before her untimely death, she was an excellent public speaker and toured across America to raise awareness. She created a website and blog called Democrats Against UN Agenda 21 which is an excellent resource for research and learning.
The following are her words from Behind the Green Mask: U.N. Agenda 21 which is available at Amazon or through Lillooet’s inter-library loan.
Shortly after I started researching about UN Agenda 21 I began to wonder if we were the only liberals who were aware of it and were taking it seriously. How could that be? Democrats own property. Liberals don’t want to live in a corporatocracy. Free people don’t accept totalitarian rule. Civil rights are a vital element of our freedom—why were people saying that the UN Agenda was a right wing fantasy? What was this polarization all about? Was it to keep us from looking behind the Green Mask? We definitely knew we were on to something because of the tremendous amount of effort that was put into trying to discredit and attack us.
I thought of calling the website Villagers with Pitchforks but someone already had it. Politically, I realized the importance of broadening the spectrum of awareness. Being Democrats Against UN Agenda 21 was disappointingly unusual, but I hoped that it was a foreshadowing of the future movement against totalitarian control that will hopefully soon come from the left. The realization that the environmental movement has been hijacked should shake up and wake up liberals to get on board against Agenda 21. This is a non-partisan grassroots movement. Whether you drink tea or coffee doesn’t matter—just say off the Kool-Aid.
Mega corporations have hijacked the environmental movement. There’s a rapidly accelerating absorption of democratically elected governments into the mega-corporations.
Every totalitarian state is based on these five elements:
1) Total information on inhabitants and resources.
2) Total control of movement, speech, labour unions, universities, churches, production, and markets.
3) Terror.
4) Vision of a glorious future.
5) Spartan control of the present, scarcity.
Up until recently government officials would pretend UN Agenda 21 was a fantasy or conspiracy theory. Now it’s out of the closet.
Being green is using energy efficient ways to conserve and using intelligent means to preserve our lives on earth. You don’t have to lose your free speech rights and give up living with a personal vehicle, a private home, modern conveniences and good food to be environmentally conscious.
If you’ve been identifying yourself as progressive ask yourself what that means. Ask yourself what it means. Think about it. A year ago I decided to do some research on progressives. After all, I’d been referring to myself as a progressive and I realized I had no idea what it meant. I was just being cool. Who doesn’t want to be progressive?
Picking winners and losers is the official blood sport of the Agenda for the 21st century.
Keeping you quiet, sedated, passive, compliant, consuming, exhausted, distracted, frightened, ignorant and confused is the order of the day. The New Globalist Order.
Imagine the end result of Sustainable Development. In your mind, move into a condo. Get rid of your car and ride your bicycle. Take your time thinking about this. Stop eating food not produced locally (within 25 miles). Limit your water usage t 10 gallons per day. Pay a carbon tax for any trip you take. Wash you clothes and bedding by hand and hang them to dry (try this for a month). Answer your Asset Based Community Development questionnaire. Perform your hours of “mandatory volunteer work”. Report any violations of the Smart Growth Residents code.
That’s right, to the tune of $1.4 billion — for a real estate deal gone bad that Jared Kushner made with Qatar while he was acting as special emissary to the Middle East during Trump’s first term. Brookfield, then in Carney’s control as head of the board, saved Trump’s ass by leasing one floor of 666 Fifth Avenue in New York City for the astounding sum of $1.4 billion. (Isn’t that a dirty financial trick used by money launderers?)
By now, astute readers will have clued in to the fact that Carney and Trump are the same poison. That’s why they bail each other out. And they both use the lapdog media — and social media, too! — to manipulate and mislead.
CANADIANS WERE PLAYED LIKE CHEAP TOYS DURING THE ELECTION, REGARDLESS OF THEIR TRIBAL AFFILIATION. EMBARRASSING THAT WE SUCCUMBED WITH HYSTERIA AND ELBOWS UP, EVEN MIDDLE FINGERS UP. WE HAVE TO WAKE UP AND SMELL THE MANIPULATION.
Those familiar with the CBC’s long-running Fifth Estate would remember Trish Wood who spent almost ten years doing investigative reporting for the show. She’s now a popular podcaster thanks to her high quality journalism and signature deep, mellifluous voice you can listen to all day. And she’s been training her laser focus on the perplexing Trump/Carney bromance.
“If you’re like me you are scratching your head trying to decode exactly what is Donald Trump’s play with Mark Carney? None of it makes any sense. We’ve gone from Carney’ reckless we’re done with America speech to a digital snog between the two men evoking an 80’s romcom, just 24 hours later.”
by B. H. Link (local professional writing under a pseudonym)
Some of us grew up in homes where grownups faithfully watched the evening news, read the daily city newspaper, and never thought to doubt how much was true. My dear mum spoke admiringly of “Peter” (Mansbridge, a former CBC news anchor) on a first-name basis; he was her trusted source for all things political. We later scoffed at those who would believe the ‘crazy talk’ on sources like U.S. Fox News. We felt informed about news events. Occasionally we’d come across people with ‘out there’ ideas, and an offhand dismissal seemed reasonable.
Little did we know.
Onward we venture into 2025 amid news from almost-endless sources worldwide. Strangely, free speech doesn’t feel very free anymore and we are too-often careful, even fearful, about voicing independent thoughts. Paradoxically it’s both easier and harder to find information AND to discern what appears to be true. With humility and courage we might question: What seems to be true? Who benefits from this message? Who funded this source? What kind of evidence is offered to support these ideas? Is it biased opinion, or an attempt to present more than one side for balance? What perspectives are being withheld, disparaged or dismissed, and why?
Media influence on our lives is HUGE; we can think we hold independent beliefs without realizing how some have been carefully fed to us over time. Simple slogans repeated strategically is a proven psychological manipulation technique. Accompanied by fear, even more powerful. Our attention is drawn to the ‘latest thing’; meanwhile far-reaching events occur behind the scenes and few notice.
The media was long considered an important check against those who might abuse power. Yet today reporters, announcers, editors and more from conventional media now cooperate with, and are generously funded by, governments and big corporations. Particularly Big Pharma. So a new term was coined: “censorship industrial complex”.
Rodney Palmer (now at Talk Nation Radio) is one of several whistleblowing journalists who testified at the National Citizens Inquiry (NCI). Referring to CBC misrepresentation of the Ottawa Freedom Convoy, he stated, “They took an exceptional moment to decide they would not be journalists, that instead they would be public health messengers … and the result is that Canada’s national broadcaster has morphed into a state broadcaster. And I worked in countries where there were state broadcasters – China, Syria, Malawi, North Korea – it’s promoting government policy without question, while censoring, belittling and shaming learned Canadians who dare to object and inform us of the truth. Bad journalism is incompetence but propaganda is a betrayal. And that’s what CBC has done, it betrayed us all.”
Strong words. It’s worth questioning why we see no mention of the NCI on TV news, in the Sun or Province, or even in the BRLN. It was only an unprecedented citizen-funded, volunteer-organized inquiry with hundreds of witnesses exposing harmful and ongoing impacts of the Canadian Covid 19 response. Significant and relevant are understatements. And the MSM silence is deafening.
